reconstructed

Last spring I took The Garment with Antoinette. The first project in this class was to take an old garment, rip it apart, and create something new. A lot of the clothes I make are just reconstructed from old clothes. Recycling works in fashion too! Here are some new clothes I made from old clothes:

This used to be what looked like a nurse's gown. It was pretty ugly to say the least. I kept the puffy sleeves though!


I made this sheer skirt from my one of my mom's old skirts. You can't tell here but it's short in the front and longer in the back.
