Through one of my new favorite sites, Rookie, I discovered this great fashion photographer named Petra. She's only 18 years old and already has a collection of some of the most amazing fashion photographs I've seen in awhile. She uses mostly film cameras to take her photos. She has been criticized for photographing nude models, many who are very young. She answers that she is trying to express love and sex through her photos and trying to celebrate women's bodies. She has started a site for young girls to share their art work called The Ardorous. You can also see her complete works here.

Why I think fashion and tattoos go together

From Kip Fulbeck's Permanence, Justin Vernon, and NeedSupply.

I was really surprised/excited when I first saw that the models on NeedSupply had their tattoos showing. Most models will be asked to cover their tattoos for photo shoots, but I think that the tattoos on these models makes the clothing even more appealing (but that's just me).
