summer skirt
I just made this long black sheer skirt (it is actually sheer I promise, it's just hard to tell in the picture). I think it's a pretty great summer skirt. It goes great over bathing suits and is very comfortable in the heat. It was also easy to make- I just used the sheer fabric and put an elastic in the top.

summer is unreal

Designs by Mondo
Project Runway is easily one of my favorite shows, along with the Hills and Pretty Little Liars (but that's besides the point). It's great to see the lives of real up-and-coming designers and what they can create in sometimes as little as 5 hours. Last season on Project Runway, Mondo was my favorite designer. He was fun, exciting, and his designs were usually flawless. I haven't been able to find a good picture, but he made these exquisite bags for his final runway show, inspired by the Day of the Dead in Mexico. His master of mixing prints is unbelievable. Hope to see more from him soon!
