Fashion Week: Australia

Australia's fashion week is just around the corner, so I wanted to give you a little (still current!) inspiration from last year's fashion week in Australia. Enjoy!

Flip Flops: As Bad As Uggs?

I thought I was done with flip flops when I threw these out after 8th grade:

But for some reason, flip flops just never went away! The reason I compare them to Uggs is because flip flops are the ultimate summer comfort shoe and people just keep trying to make them fashionable. Gucci even makes them:

But I still always question: are flip flops fashionable? Or are designers just trying too hard? 

I guess I'll give them another chance. They're pretty cute, and I think designers have done a way better job with flip flops than anyone ever did with Uggs.
