Backless

Going "backless" now is very common. From t-shirts to ball gowns, anything can be made just a tad sexier when it's backless. I like how it makes the simple look daring and exciting just by seeing the garment from a different angle.

I took a stab at my own backless garment. I took a plain black tank top from Gap that I never wore, cut out the back, lengthened the straps, and came up with this skimpy top. It's not perfect, but it will satisfy my desire for backless for the moment.

Knee Socks Anyone?

Knee socks have been a pretty successful fad this season. They're cheap and fun and go with short skirts which all together makes for a good outfit. But my prediction: knee socks are just a fad, and always will be a fad. Statement pieces go in and out of style all the time, and this is just one in the moment. But for now, everyone should play with knee socks. Why not?!
